Our Kaupapa

Our strapline, Ka īnoi, ka whakapono, ka ora ai is centred around being transformed by our worship and shaped by our belief in Christ. This in turn brings wholeness not only to our communities but to ourselves as individuals. Our faith shapes who we are and transforms our hearts so we can prosper in Christ’s love throughout all areas of our lives.

In experiencing uncertainty and suffering we can turn to our faith in Christ to renew our hope and experience the enveloping sense of the peace of God amid our most challenging times. It’s in these times that prayer and worship are essential to our well-being. When we prioritise our relationship with Christ, we are transformed and strengthened by his love.

Through our spiritual formation, we experience the love of God in our everyday lives and when we gather in community to worship together. When we engage in rituals such as morning, midday and evening prayer, we are participating in the rituals of our tupuna who also chose to shape their lives according to this worship formation with Christ at the centre. Ka ora ai speaks to the ability of Christ to bring healing, peace and kotahitanga. Our faith reminds us we are one with God and one another, weaved together in unity.
